Of course, these results were obtained with a constantly lit display.

The principle of AMOLED technology is that the LEDs do not emit light when they appear black. LCDs do not have this advantage because the LEDs are lit, the displayed color is black or not. For IPS panels, the black background therefore is absolutely worthless.
