Huawei Ascend G7 is finally getting updated to Emotion UI 4.0 on
Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. This update will be rolled out in different
Asian Pacific countries via OTA starting with Turkey.
As a matter of fact, Huawei has already uploaded the full Marshmallow firmware image for their users in Turkey who are comfortable flashing the update manually. We’ve shared full technical details and direct download link to that firmware in our previous post.
This update sports MMB28B build number and comes with Android security patch level of May 1, 2016.
Huawei is expected to expand the rollout to other countries in the coming weeks. We’ll update this page as soon as new updates get published.
