A260F U14 EU Android 8.1.0 ROOT

Samsung has released two mobiles based on Android Go - Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and A2 Core. Compare with J model A2 Core comes with a slightly upgraded processor. Unlike other manufacturers, Samsung customized the operating system and provided Samsung Custom Skin operating system based on Oreo 8.1. There are perks and freebies here. You can access Samsung's heavy apps here. However, your mobile may not work well like other devices due to heavy customization. When you bought this mobile, you know your purpose well. Even if we optimize manually, we are limited by the hardware. So, if you are a regular user, do not root your device. You will not receive official updates from Samsung. When you know your goal well like removing Bloatware apps then you can root your mobile. If you are a developer or a regular user of root apps, follow the guide below to get root. This method is based on Magisk. You cannot install custom ROMs that require custom recovery.

Why should you root Samsung Galaxy A2 Core?

You should have a good reason to root. Samsung is planning 9.0 Pie and will further optimize your mobile. You get enough 1GB of RAM to run everyday apps lag-free for years. Yes, I know, you might think 1GB of RAM is not enough in this modern Android world. But, believe me, Android Go is much better than other Custom Skin OS. You can use this device without lag for years until Samsung takes care of some bloatware. But beyond that it is wrong for some reasons, you are addicted to some root apps, or you are a frequent user of some custom OS, you can go further. But if you want to root because everyone is doing it, I advise you not to root if you had no experience. For regular users, it can become a nightmare.
How to Root Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Oreo 8.1 (SM-A260F, SM-A260G)

This means that the smartphone can be easily rooted. Also, the device may agree to install TWRP recovery or any other custom recovery files/apps. Do not try with US variants of Snapdragon like Verizon devices. They come with a locked Bootloader.

But in the method below, we will root this device using Magisk, not TWRP. You can install TWRP using the official app when it's released.
