This update is only compatible with the European P7 handsets running a C900 based firmware. Here are the installation instructions:

1. Extract the firmware RAR package on your PC.
2. Copy the dload folder to your P7’s microSD card.
3. Take a complete backup of your existing data and apps.
4. Unplug the USB cable and turn the device off.
5. Reboot by holding Vol down + Vol up + Power to trigger the upgrade.
6. After your device finishes optimizing the system, you should perform a factory reset and restore your backup.

Update Instructions

Compatibility: As mentioned in the details above, this OTA can only be installed over B839 (download here). You’re also going to need the stock recovery to flash this update.

1. Download OTA package from above and make sure it’s named as ‘update.zip’.
2. Connect your phone to the computer in MTP mode.
3. Transfer ‘update.zip’ to your P7’s external microSD card or internal memory, into a folder named ‘dload’.
4. Next, safely unplug the USB cable and open the Updater app.
5. Go to menu > Local Update, select the Update.zip package and install.
