Huawei Mate S Marshmallow Beta Program Goes Live [Europe Only]

Huawei is officially inviting its Mate S flagship owners to beta-test the upcoming Marshmallow update in Europe. To get the beta update you simply have to send them an Email (details provided below) and wait for the OTA to arrive.

How to Apply

Send Huawei an Email at matesbetatest@huawei.com with the following info:

IMEI No. [Dial *#06# to get it]
Current Firmware Version

You can check your current firmware’s build number in Settings > About Phone

The last date to apply is Jan 30, 2016. If you are accepted you’ll receive the OTA in the first or second week of February.
Note: Your Mate S already needs to be running the B145 Lollipop firmware in order to install Marshmallow. Make sure the device isn’t rooted and has its stock recovery intact.
You’re recommended to take a full backup of your important stuff before flashing the OTA.
